| When you hit the front brakes in a turn on your 10speed, it would toss you on your ass. A cars front brakes handle more load then the rear HOWEVER the system is balanced so that all 4 wheels are braking based on the weight distribution of the car. If you want to disable rear brakes for use @ a strip for burn outs or take off you can install a valve on the rear calipers (or lines) to block flow to them. However disconnecting your calipers permanetly is NOT in any way safe or acceptable for real world highway use. The first time you hit the brakes in the turn you'd toss the ass end around in front of you. Think through what you're trying to accomplish by this and how to do it in a reasonable safe way. In the mean time replace your pads - it takes 30min of your time.
